Mentorship

Learn from people already doing the work.

Marketing careers rarely follow a straight line. Sometimes what you need is not another course. It is a conversation with someone who has already been where you are trying to go.

For mentees

Bring one real question.

TSA connects mentees with experienced professionals who can offer perspective and practical advice on the things that actually stall a marketing career.

  • Career decisions
  • Marketing skills
  • Portfolio development
  • Personal branding
  • Freelancing
  • Professional development
  • Navigating the marketing industry

Career decisions

Stuck on positioning, a role change, or what to learn next? Bring one decision.

Marketing skills

A live brief, a quiet channel, or a client who will not lock a goal.

Portfolio development

Walk through a case study with someone who briefs and reviews marketing work.

Personal branding

Get a clearer read on how you present your skills and the work you want next.

Freelancing

Offers, rates, client communication, and how to hold a professional relationship.

Professional development

What to learn next, and how to grow without collecting another unused course.

Navigating the marketing industry

The work rarely follows a straight line. Mentors help you choose the next move.

How it works

Three steps, staff-coordinated.

  1. Browse approved mentors

The directory is staff-reviewed. Filter by specialty and how they like to work.
  2. Send a focused request

From your member account, say the topic, the goal, and the format you need.
  3. TSA coordinates

We review the request and make the introduction so the time stays useful for both sides.

Give back

Become a mentor.

If you have real experience, help marketers in the TSA community grow with clear, honest guidance. This is a reviewed directory, not an open listing.

You have done the work

Brand, agency, freelance, or in-house. You can talk about real briefs, not only theory.

You can spare a focused hour

Portfolio reviews, office hours, or one-to-one guidance. Set availability and pause whenever you need.

You give honest notes

Members come for a clear read. Kind is required. Vague praise is not useful.

How review works

  1. Apply from the portal

Complete your member profile, then submit a mentor application with specialties and how you like to work.
  2. TSA reviews

Staff read for experience, clarity, and fit before a profile becomes visible in the directory.
  3. You take requests

Members send focused requests. TSA coordinates introductions so your time stays protected.

Both sides

Find a mentor, or become one.

The directory lives in the member portal so requests stay relevant and easy to coordinate. Mentors apply separately and are reviewed by TSA before they appear.
